    RIP June Foray

One of the greatest of cartoon voices has left us. We'll miss you, June!

June Foray, the voice of "The Bullwinkle Show's" Rocky the Flying Squirrel and his nemesis Natasha Fatale of Boris and Natasha, has died.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

Mark Evanier has a neat story involving June on his blog.

She had a big hand in a lot of things I loved as a kid.

Man, what a resume. No doubt the most prolific female voice actor. RIP.

She was still working well into her 90s. She won an Emmy (her first) in 2012 at the age of 94 and was still voicing "Granny" and "Rocky" until 2014. Amazing lady!

She also voiced Aunt May from Spider-man and his amazing friends. R.I.P.!

Oh man... not a household name really, but one that should be. The voice of so many childhood favorites.

I always viewed June as the female version of Mel Blanc.
