That ODB tattoo is actually amazingly well done. In fact most of them are technically sound (the snakes on a plane is sort of a clunker)... most of them are stupid, but technically sound nonetheless.
Nothing like putting your all into a stupid idea (as opposed to a bad idea or a terrible idea, they're different*)... oh, life at the tattoo shop.
Trade secret... if you have a really stupid idea and find a GOOD artist willing to tattoo it on you, it will probably end up being done very, very well.
Why? So we can make fun of you FOREVER. It will be impossible to cover up and extremely difficult to remove. You get to live it down after the hangover wears off and we get to occasionally whip out a pic of your tattoo and say "look what I did on this chump!"
Cruel but fair... the circle of life.

*Bad idea - girlfriend's name
Terrible Idea - girlfriend's portrait with name and "Forever" underneath
Stupid Idea - a picture of your Ford F150 with your girlfriend's portrait worked into a sunset with clouds and the words " I love you more than my truck, baby" in Old English Letters
This is the kind of thing I have to deal with EVERY day.
