Glad to see that I am not the only one here that thinks eBay sucks anymore. See, I told you so.

Technically, according to ebay's rules, you shouldn't be using it at all on any of your remaining accounts, if one account has already been suspended or cancelled. Be careful.

I'm not sure if you are just joking, but you are allowed to have as many ebay accounts as you want, as long as they don't interact with each other in any way. I have a half dozen or so.

I am very upset with the new feedback system on Ebay. It's been a bad joke that just keeps getting worse. All they want our money and for us to shut up.
My feedback went from 99.7 (1 negative/2 neutrals out of 694) to 99.4 (no negative) Due to new formula. Has to be due to shipping rating being less than 100% YEP it's so much bettter now
Try communicating with Ebay. It's almost impossible if the time limit is up.
you are out of luck. You have to have a current item number. I discovered a reply to feedback with vulgarity on my account and can't even get through to Ebay to get it fixxed.

As a seller my policy was simple. I leave feedback after the transaction is over.

I define the transaction being over when the buyer is satisfied. If I buyer were to be unhappy and email me about the situation, I would do everything REASONABLE to correct the situation.

Reasonable being: item not as described, damaged in shipping, etc.
This does not include buyer's remorse.

If it could not be resolved, and the buyer chose to leave a negative instead, yes I would leave a negative. Because at THAT point all communication is broken by the bidder, and I consider it over.

    It is not petty.

It is my experience as a seller with that particular bidder. My negatives have never been emotional. They have always been to the point and I have always explained them in the comment section.

Makes me glad that I haven't listed anything for sale in over a year.

And yes I have two accounts, one for bidding and one for selling.

Why? I have perfect feedback on my bidder account, and I do not want to explain negatives to a perspective seller that I would have on a selling account.

now if i have a bad time im gonna leave a positive as i have that or little other choice, but im going to use that as a chance to say "im forced into leaving this + by greedebay, but to warn you this ebayer SUCKS!!"

Though unfortunately the scammers can get by on the new policy - this policy was put in place for the very thing you do - retaliation negative. you are your own enemy. as an honest buyer i haver not even been able to leave neutral feedback for sellers for fear of this retaliation feedback - which is more aptly called reciprocal feedback because whether i was a good buyer or not - i will receive the same feedback that i give.

ebay has it's problems and tey make money - but you can't please all the people all the time and it is a business after all - they aren't a charity.

no I read that if the person who left negative feedback gets suspended or kicked off, then those negatives will be removed
