Ebay used to be cool...but it's so well known now people see it as an internet boot sale....either everything is overpriced 'cos people think they have a collectable or people buying are only looking for a bargin and don't want to pay what something is worth.

the only thing that changed on mine was the %..i went from 97.4 to 100%,...my rating hasnt gone up yet..but that may be due to my account being suspended for oweing the *****s 11 bucks in fees....go figure..they make llike a billion dollars a year and they really need that 11 bucks.

too many changes and not for the good...or for the seller either...it's not "Fun" anymore or even worth it...

It's strange, one of my account's feedback jumped by about 30, but the other accounts haven't changed yet, but I'm pretty sure they should have. It will be interesting to see what happens with the new rules in effect now. I'll still list stuff though (especially because tomorrow is 5 cent listing day for Canadian sellers. )

I went from 509 to 522 feedback and went from 99.5% to 100% positive feedback. I still like Ebay and will continue to use them.

Now that jacka$$ that never paid & left me my only negative is gone

I now have 100% pos again

Ebay still sucks anymore though - i feel sorry for the people that use to make a living on it they are suck greedy bas#%^$ at ebay anymore i dont see how anyone can come out ahead selling there- the fees must be 5 times what they were a couple years ago

It seems like nobody even bids on anything anymore.

also only buyer can leave negative feedbacks now, we can leave a neg if we buy something but if you sell a mego doll and the buyer dont pay they can leave you a neg, or they are unhappy about the transaction in any way they can leave a neg and you cant do jack about it

That is kind of dumb IMO. Of course we are talking eBay here so that pretty much explains it all.

yeah this happened to me last week

its all the usual con trick

on my one account it took me to over 1300 feedback and now ebay has me down as a business user... i went into my account and put it back to personal user and then ebay changed it back again... which means ill be on the higher rate of final sales fees... yeah great

also only buyer can leave negative feedbacks now, we can leave a neg if we buy something but if you sell a mego doll and the buyer dont pay they can leave you a neg, or they are unhappy about the transaction in any way they can leave a neg and you cant do jack about it

yeah,that's gotta be one of dumbest things they've ever done.But since it's paypal only now,I'm guessing they can track when a buyer pays for an item and we he doesn't.So I'm sure they'll make an exception to leave negatives for that
