Traveling to Work....

I live only 2 miles from work, but the gas is so expensive I started walking it last week. Since they finally finished (more or less) the sidewalk between home and work, it's not bad. We'll see how that works out when it gets cold. Last Wednesday it rained like heck, so I got to wear the rainsuit I bought.

I quit my part time gig at the jr. college 25 miles away. I can't drive 150 miles a week for what they pay.

according to my gps, I'm 823 miles from work, so I have to drive 300 or so miles to drop off my rental and then take two planes and then a shuttle to long term parking to get my car. Then I'd only be about ten miles away

Hmmmm....

Bicycle. All year round; all weather. (I have ASTOUNDING lower body strength now. Bicycling through 3 feet of snow will do that.)
