I was wondering if anyone who is on this site is from there. I'd love to meet you if so. PM me and we'll work out the details. I'm going with a good friend who is a POTA collector so we'll have a lot to talk about.

Last time i've been to the Star Trek Experience was (I think) it was 2006.
It was for the big super-Trek convention at the Vegas Hilton.
The Experience was ok, but I wouldn't make a special trip to Vegas for it.
It's basically a round shaped mini-mall with Trek vendors selling new stuff along the sides.
Each shop is hole-in-the-wall small.
At the end, there's "Quarks Bar" ... You can go in for a drink, and the bar-tender dresses like Quark.
Out-side, there's some kind of Trek virtual simulator ride (I didn't go on it).
The Experience was ok, but I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone.
To me, it was a let-down.Comment

Funniest thing was the guy playing the Klingon was huge. While we were shopping he came over to my wife, and in his best Klingon voice asked if he could assist her. It scared her to death when she looked up and saw this huge Klingon talking to her.

Just as a word of caution be for warned that not all of Vegas is legal just in case you did not know. Alot of peeps make that assumption while visiting. I just do not want to see anyone get busted. The legal brothels are the safest and best bet. Just my two cents to help a brother out. I do not want to stray too far off of the topic here or hijack TXTEACH's thread as I seriously doubt he has plans for this in his future Vegas vacation with the family. Although I could be wrong if he is just going with his ape friend. I meant ape collecting friend that is.Last edited by livnxxxl; May 19, '08, 4:50 PM.Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009
