I just started buying "Mort Subite Kriek", a belgian cherry flavored beer, not the cheapest stuff in the world at $100 per case, but man is this stuff great. The perfect summer beer.

I was in Belgium once. I sat in a bar overlooking the English Channel / North Sea and speaking in French with a gentlemen who got drunker and drunker as the night progressed. I was 17; my French was alot better then. We sang songs in French and also spoke a little Spanish together. Perhaps you knew him? Belgium is a small country!
