Better Call Saul Season 3

I thought I'd just create a new thread for season 3 which happens to start tonight!

I will say that I'm a little disappointed in AMC. They didn't show Better Call Saul season 1 and season 2 as a countdown to season 3.

I'm looking forward to the new season. I checked out of the Walking Dead during the season 7 opener. I still like the WD comic. I also like AMC's Into The Badlands.

I love "Better Call Saul." That show is just fantastic. Jonathan Banks is just a superb actor!

I kinda wish the show was all about Mike. I could sit and watch him figure out a tracking device for a whole episode.

I like Mike...in fact I love him...he is in fact the heart...but Saul is the engine who runs the show.

I really dig the lawyer friend of his...my kinda woman...

And shout out to Michael McKean too...what a loon, but great character too, lol...

It was a great 3rd season entry and honestly, I'd watch a show about Mike doing his thing. I'd even watch a show about Jimmy working at Cinnabon...

My kids want to take a road trip to Albuquerque and I do too!

It makes me wonder if when they have the final season, it will all be the Cinnabon time period.

It's a great show. A couple moments dragged out a bit too much, though, for a ten episode a season show.

Sometimes too much dragging out after the point is made and information received.

loved the third season. It's going to be a painful wait for season 4 given the cliffhanger.

Nacho has really become the surprise character of this season. I kinda liked the slow burn of this season given some of the emotional notes they hit by the end of it. So much heartbreak in the future for all these characters. Hoping they find a way to weave Jimmy into the sphere of Mike/Gus/Nacho next season, where all the meaty plot points seem to be heading. (not that the similar thematic journeys that Mike and Jimmy are taking in parallel aren't fascinating to watch, but the screen really lights up when you finally bring those two together every single time).

Despite Chuck's words... which as we know are prophetic given the future where Jimmy becomes Saul, I can't help but see them seeding in some potential for a happier ending, maybe further into the future. One where Gene can become Jimmy again and make some use of that rolodex.

The show is GREAT. To be upset when breaking bad ended and then these guys ramp us up again with another homerun!!! I mean can these guys write or what. I will also be losing fingernails waiting on the next season!! CANT GET ENOUGH

I thought we'd at least get a Gene vignette at the end there. I love this show.

I felt like they did subtly reference Gene a bit in the last couple — or at least they hinted at Jimmy's fate — since so much his turn towards the dark side took place in the limbo of a suburban mall.

Anyone else seeing the hints of To Kill A Mockingbird perhaps alluding to Kim wanting to leave the world of corporate law for a "worthier" crusading field of criminal defence/prosecution? Which might draw her, and thus Jimmy, closer to the sphere's of Mike/Gus/Nacho.
