I had to do that too. As I said in the other thread,every time I go to a different section of the Museum,the colors keep changing.

I"ve had the background shifts too, concurrent with being booted/logged off. BTW, I don't see this "stay signed in" button.

The read/unread thing is a function of vBulletin changing how they keep track of that information. It used to be kept in cookies, and now it's in the database itself, which is ultimately better and more secure. That said, there will be issues as it's switched over. Always try to remember to be logged in when reading the forum. Your accounts should catch up to the new method quickly.

The clicking the "stay signed in" box is also a new function of the database storage, I believe.

I'm doing my best to fix whatever issues remain. I appreciate everyone's patience.

I'm having similar problems. Logged in one screen, logged out on another. with corresponding shifts in my custom 70s background versus default background. And, If I go back from a logged-out thread to one were I was logged in, sometimes my logged-in status and background reappears.

It's like I'm Kirk in The Tholian Web lol.

I'm still getting like part of the page when I log in, when I try again I do get to the actual (full) page.
But my first tries are usually fails.
When I'm there, no problems to post or navigate.

Any improvements today? I worked on several different things, and I think I fixed a lot of the issues with the User Gallery as well.

It seems to be working near normally for me, at this point. On the iPhone I see all of the avatars, but not on the PC. Small potatoes.

My only issue continues to be with the Image uploader script in Posts.
As I noted here:
Also note to Admins: The Basic Uploader script [in both browsers] acts up...You have to basically open and close it up to three times, to get it to finally show the "browse" and "Upload file" buttons.
But after that first salvo of open and close three times, then it will let you upload photos.
Have cleared caches, and tried on three different macs using both browsers, same thing.
Occurs in Firefox v. 52 and Safari 10.1. on Mac..... Just FYI....

Outside of that, I don't have issues with the Bold of the titles ( showing unread)
or non -bold ( showing read threads)

And in other news the MailChimp for the newsletter is working better now on both Desktop and Phone, in Firefox and Safari, no more broken pics as of the last three newsletters so there is good news...just FYI
