Just watched Dead Man's Curve on Decades TV. This was a 1978 TV movie with Richard Hatch and Bruce Davidson as the 1960's pop duo Jan Barry and Dean Torrence. Most of the movie focused on Jan Barry's(Richard Hatch) 1966 car accident which left him paralyzed and barely able to speak which of course sidelined his music career up until the mid 1970's. This was probably some of Richard's best work just a few months prior to Battlestar Galactica. Thinking this was Decades TV's way of paying tribute to Richard.

One thing I didn't like was the famous lip syncing incident.
I find it hard to believe an audience would boo them off the stage.
If anything they could have covered it up explaining the microphones went dead.
Remember the girl (forgot her name) who got caught lip syncing on SNL ? .... The audience was like "meh"Comment

I remember watching this movie when it first aired. My Mom and my oldest sister were J&D fans and I remember hearing them sniffle during parts of it.sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.Comment

Listened to this album SO many times when I was a youngster! I remember picking it up at Zayre's for like a buck-fiddy. It was, and still is, great. I've still got it somewhere in my collection of stuff...
