Star Wars Collection Stolen

I go way back with this guy and while nobody deserves to have their stuff stolen, it's especially galling with him. Seriously, he's had a lot of bad luck in his life and it would be nice if there was a win for him. Please share the story and be leery of large collections of comics and Star Wars stuff in Southern Ontario.

Poor guy! I'd be in tears. That's terrifying. If my stuff ever got stolen, I think I'd probably take it as a sign that it wasn't meant to be, and I wouldn't rebuild. Just too financially and emotionally hard.

Sounds like he has a decent shot at recovering some of his collection or, at least, finding out who stole it. Fingers crossed.

The theft actually happened 4 months ago.

I think he just went public now to kick the Police's rear in gear

That is really bad to have all those type of things stolen.

Maybe some of the most important items will be returned.

With Star Wars Celebration coming up in a couple of weeks, it might be time to alert some of the bigger name collectors to be on the look out. Gus Lopez is running the fan/collector stuff at the show. If this gentleman has any particularly rare pieces (easy to identify) notifying Lopez might be a good BOLO.

What a sad story but it does sound like they have a good lead on the person who did this. I hope they nab him soon.

He's got a better lead on this than most people get, it sounds like. I hope they nail the guy and he gets at least some of his stuff back. This kind of thing always sucks, especially when it happens to good people.
