Star Wars Celebration in Orlando 2017-anyone?

Im also wondering if they will have those model displays you can take your picture in (creature cantina, deathstar, jabba the hut etc.). Ive seen them at past conventions on youtube and hope there will be some there.

Also, since the panel will be jam packed Im wondering if they will show the preview on screens throughout the convention center when it happens.

They've done that at every Celebration I've been at, but those set ups are usually put up by local 501 garrisons. Check the rebelscum site, the garrisons will be posting what they'll be doing.

I have only attended one Celebration. Indianapolis 2005. I was nominated for a Fan Film Award and was able to hobnob a little bit. It was a fun experience but Star Wars is so personal to me that the convention felt a little (cheap?). It's hard to explain. Of course it was masterfully accommodating but I felt like, "This is a bit much" I still had a lot of fun seeing fans from every walk of life and folks who are into the saga as much if not more than I am. I was also able to meet and greet people that I've only known online and make a face to face connection.

This post is not meant to be discouraging in any way. I have not met a fan who attended and did not have a good time (myself included). I'm sure anyone who attends will have a blast!
