Are you a fan of Lost?

I've been TiVo-ing or DVR-ing it and catching up in blocks.

I hate Michael with a passion. I can appreciate what he did. I get why. Still, I just don't like what he did or him anymore. He commited murder, connived and got off the island and back to civilization. All so that he could be with his son again - and they're estranged now. Now, he's back on the freighter to "help" the other castaways he abandoned? it would have been nice if he ended up like the thieving couple - buried alive.

The more I watch it, I get the feeling that the writers are still winging it, still throwing darts at a dart board to see what direction to go in, and are just throwing stuff out that's weird for the sake of being weird, or edgy or unique.

I have a sinking feeling that one or two two-hour episodes will explain everything that has been danced around, and it will end as an autistic boys snowglobe from Hawaii.

I think "some day" when and IF I ever happen to get bored enough I will buy it all on DVD and watch it. I cannot see this happening anytime real soon though.

I still like it. I really liked the flashforwards but agree it is getting old.

I think with just a season left they don't want to spend half of the season explaining what happened to them after they were rescued.

There are two seasons left. 16 eps to run Feb-May in 2009, and the same for 2010.

Even on its worst day, this show is still better than 99% of the other dramas on network TV. I try my best to keep up with all the developments and characters, but I don't spend a minute thinking about it after the show is over. All I care about is that it entertains me for the hour I'm planted in front of it, and it's rarely disappointed me so far.

I would be inclined to watch it more ONLY if Eva Longoria started starring in the show. That way I could have my Desperate Housewives fix at the same time. And....Lost may actually start to be pretty good to watch as far as I am concerned.

I discovered Lost after the first season ended. Who knew it was sci-fi? I thought it was a soap opera-type show, sort of a dramatic Gilligan's Island. I downloaded the whole season, watched it all in a week, and just fell hard for it.

Honestly, I wish I had discovered it after it was all over (next season is the last). It's better when you watch it all at once without commercial/summer hiatus/writers' strike interference.
