I just received a copy of Hatfields and McCoy's in the mail adding to my dvd collection as well as watched the Titanic (again after 20 years) on Valentine's day. He had been in a lot of popular films the last couple decades. Shocking, I remember a similar thing happening to Dan Blocker at the height of Bonanza.

Shocked and saddened. His turn in Weird Science still makes me cringe--and laugh. RIP sir.

That's a gut-punch. A massively important talent who would get his just dues at different moments.

Putting aside his iconic roles, watch A Simple Plan to see the man at his best.

I was watching Tombstone last night, aslo. Turned it off when Morgan was killed. Rest, Bill.

Shocked actually I just started watching training day yesterday.
Had no idea he was sick?

                          Dang !!!!! That's a surprise

If anyone hasn't seen it, try The Colony (2013)

Decent movie but end is a little bit of a letdown.

                          RIP

Man, another actor from, let's admit it, our generation, gone. There's less than ten years age difference between me and the late Mr. Paxton. Such sad news. Rest well, Bill. Condolences and peace to your family, friends and many fans.
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

My brothers and I always laugh about Chet from weird science but my first date with my wife was Twister. On Feb 12th we celebrated twenty years together and watched that movie again.
Sad news. Guess you never know.
