    Those paintings are wonderful Meule!

That Micronauts painting is beautiful, Brian. Painted toy packaging adds another dimension to the whole concept. The paintings on the G.I. Joe: RAH figures showed us how cool the characters were, even if the sculpting were to let us down. Plus the explosion behind them made them literally pop off the store shelves. Gorgeous.

That's a really good point. If a toy has some shortcomings, at least the box art can smooth it over, and add play fantasy scenarios to your imagination in a way photos cannot.

      Same thing with movie posters.

These two blu rays are different artwork for the same film. Which one sparks your imagination more?

^All the '76 Kong artwork was EPIC. The '33 version might be the original, but this was MY Kong growing up.

Still waiting on a U.S. Blu-ray release! That, War of the Worlds, the Black Hole and the Time Machine need released NOW!!

I deeply miss hand painted box art.

Google some of the MOTU box art if you get a chance.

Rudy Obrero's Masters of the Universe box art is amazing and Earl Norem did a lot of fantastic MOTU paintings for storybooks and magazines.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

That Count Yorga poster is fantasic!

And Thomas, those posters are too cool... but wow, it can't be that many! Kyrian is growing up so fast. I remember you posting about his birth.
