My niece never played with Barbie. She played with Breyer horses, but we did have a fashion show (more like a horse show....with a catwalk?). Wouldn't have wanted that filmed, either.

Have played with Barbie (and Monster High), My Little Pony, Star Wars, LEGO, Super Heroes, Breyer horses, Playmobil, Voltron, etc., etc., etc., with my daughter. We're both very well-rounded. Wouldn't have minded being filmed, unless they showed my bald spot.

I've been there, done that. My daughter has moved on from Barbies, despite her Barbie-collecting mother, but now she's Lego-obsessed, and she prefers the "non-girl" lines over Friends, etc.

Great commercial, though. I'm up for any ads that show Dads aren't all mono-syllabic morons who let the moms do everything.
