    Manufacture and costs of collectibles.

I will present this question as I have in other groups but please keep it civil and try and keep personal politics points of view out of the arena.

With what transpired yesterday and today with the direction of the American economy, do you think more production of Star Wars collectibles will be shifted from foreign soil to American soil? Will this increase the price on future collectibles or will be relegated to procuring for questionable sellers abroad?

I feel the pricing of collectible will increase over time but not sure about manufacture which I would love to be domestic due to quicker accessibility. Though the environmental impact of manufacturing with plastics does bother me.

I would say get ready to start seeing wooden toys, little red wagons, hobby horses and iron Graf Zeppelins on store shelves.

I expect to see prices on both manufactured goods and food rise. I'm not confident in a hard shift towards domestic production. And BTW, I already buy American cars and Ohio (if not US)-produced brands whenever possible.

No bearing on the toy market. The smallest items that will have any cost change will be washing machines and whatnot.

I was just thinking about that. Let's be honest the concept of spending in some cases $1000's on individual vintage toys is unfathomable to our peers. Toy buying is a luxury compared to others who have to make due with the basic necessities.
