Can anyone suggest a good program for editing sound files? Nothing fancy; I need to crop stuff off an existing file, maybe splice a few bits together into one file, and overlay other audio files. Then convert it to mp3 or mp4.

goggle..im tellin ya, that's how i find most of my programs...you will eventually come across one that is recommended by a ton of people and has a good rep...
