    reference section

hi palitoy or davemc or other admin i dont know of ?

is there any chance we can get a reference section for members who deal in the buy& sell marketplace, trade mm cards and run freebies?

each member makes a individual post, the title is there member name and inside... "if you have dealings with me please leave a ref" < example
and then each member who has dealt with them can leave a positive comment in that members post

it would be so much easier than looking up that random post floating around in the marketplace, i cant even find it to post it here now

if that is the one to continue can it not be made a sticky thread at least so we dont have to go searching page after page for it

the ref section is best though, im much appriciated if you consider that

basicly its also down to the fact that ive dealt with around 15 people here now and ive not got 1 single ref from it

any feedback about this idea well appricated

I can understand why you want people to give you references or something, but once we start doing that, it's too much like the feedback system on eBay. My understanding is that the general consenses was against this idea. I'm pretty sure that thread wasn't intended as a permanent or mandatory program. The best way to earn a reputation here is to participate in threads and be a good seller, which you seem to be doing. If you really need to see that thread, you could bookmark it or use the Search feature each time.

The longer you stick around, the more your reputation will grow.

I agree with mitchedwards. I already assume people on here are going to be as good as their word. I don't think I am being naive, if I were that concerned about it, I would shop/trade elsewhere. I don't want to see folks getting bashed on here for stuff that may not be their fault. Things get lost and deals fall thru. It happens. I would never bash anyone for not sending a trading card or something, but some people would.

Word gets around pretty fast anyway, expecially if someone excells or really screws up. For the most part I trust the people here, because we are in it for the same reasons. People in this forum seem have a common set of ethics when it comes to trades and sales. In almost every case it has been positive.

Trust and reputation are key words on this forum. I have NEVER seen a place were people would feel so comfortable to send a trade out in the mail before recieving what they want.

I have seen people send figures in the market and trust the person to send the money later.

This not even mentioning the folks who just give cards away or sponser contest where they pay the postage and everything.

The honor system here makes me feel proud just to be a member.

Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
            Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.
