    Wii Fit

Does anyone know where these can be pre-ordered. Sounds like an awesome product for the Wii console but TRU just told me they are no longer taking pre-orders and I can't find anywhere on line to pre-order this thing.

I can't stand waiting in lines for things like this but have a feeling this is going to be very difficult to find.

    Thanks

A hideous creature of enormous size and alien power, it waits for it's time to return patiently. For it has all the time in the world while it waits for the stars.

I preordered from Amazon, but they have sold out online since. I know Walmart was planning a push on these. Gamestop was taking pre-orders a couple of weeks ago when I bought my dad a Wii (after a couple months of searching, and yes it was the last one).

My advice would be to sign up for Amazon's waiting list emails, and hit a couple of local GameStops. Also consider your local Target to see what their policy is, and how many they are planning to get. Put in some a preorder or three if you can. Worst case is you have an extra Wii Fit or two, and I suspect you will be able to flip them for a profit.

But you would think,.. somewhere's in the near future,.. the shortage of Wii's has got to come to an end,.. it's been out for what,.. 2&1/2 yrs.

Actually the Wii Fit is a exercise / fitness / Game / Accessory for the Wii that comes out May 21st. I am sure we will see a lot of hype around it next week. Sounds like you saw the actual Wii console, which still has been hard to find, but supposedly is getting easier and will be ramping up to support the Wii Fit promotional push.

I got my kid a wii at launch time (which was christmas!) by using Zen-like logic. I was trying to get one at Wallyworld, Target, game stop etc. it was nigh impossible. So I sat down and thought "who carries electronics, but no-one buys them?".... answer...K-mart! Hopped in the car and had one within 20 minutes. I was the hero of Christmas! Hooray impending bankruptcy!
If you want a wii, and still have K-Mart stores near you, try that. All the K-Marts are vanishing around here...

I quit preordering games a while back. Recently I have found everything I have wanted at launch time. I don't know why places are pushing preorders so hard these days, but there are always extras. Didn't use to be that way, (It took me a while to get a copy of Disgaia 2...), but now even hyped stuff is not in shortage. The only title I have had a tough time finding in the last year or so has been Bioshock... I got it at launch, but it took me most of the day to find one.

This Wii Fit console is going to be hard to find for sure.

I have already checked WalMart, TRU, GameStop, Amazon, Overstock, etc. and they are all sold out of preorders and told me that all of their inventory has been accounted for.

Right now, my best shot is Target. They aren't taking pre-orders around here and hopefully, there won't be a mad rush for it.

I usually don't get hyped up around a system but this thing looks really good and methinks it is going to be especially hard to find throughout the holiday season. Some people are balking at the $90 price point but others contend it is around the same price as Guitar Hero and there a lot of neat stuff that come with the basic package and software.

I finally got a Wii for our family at Easter. It took a lot of asking and looking around, but I finally got one. Its a blast and the whole family is really enjoying it. I find playing old Gamecube games on it to be kind of annoyng. I like using the Wii remote.

This Wii Fit sounds like a lot of fun, and would be really good in the winter months when you can't get outside to do much. I may try to get one once the initial mania dies down.
