RIP Debbie Reynolds

Singin' in the Rain is just such a wonderful film, I bet I've seen it 10 times. Debbie was just great, holding her own with Gene Kelly & Donald O'Connor.
Rest in peace.

One of my all-time favorites. Never fails to lift my spirits.

I discovered her more after 1996 in the movie "Mother" (I thought she was hilarious). Then I rediscovered her after 2004's "Connie and Carla". I loved what Nia Vardalos & Michael Lembeck said about her wit in the movie's interviews. Then I started following her biographies and interviews: I thought her steps in rebuilding her career and financial empire where very inspirational, IMO. She had this out-take of a silly song in "Connie and Carla" called 'Thing Be' that I will never forget: What a hoot ; )

Unfathomable. But if there is any solace in this, it's that she and Carrie are together. What a loss for those left behind, though.
