Hey gang....long time no talk! Thought I would check in and say hello to this wonderful museum. I hope everyone had a great holiday.
I was watching "Man vs. Snake" on Netflix last night, which is the story about the guy who scored a billion points on the old "Nibbler" video game in the 80s. I didn't even remember that game but I thought the show was kind of interesting. I was telling my daughter about it and I remembered that I used to be the reigning Asteroids champion in the arcade here back in 2007 so I told her that which made me think of you guys so here I am! Funny, but she wasn't very impressed at my achievements. Kids nowadays!
Anyway, I just checked and I'm very pleased that my crown is still intact. In fact, today is my 9 year anniversary of my high score. I'm thinking no one has tried to hard to beat my score in quite some time but I'm not complaining. Also, today is exactly 15 years and 1 month since I joined the Mego Museum. What a difference today vs. back then! Were we on dial up on 56k modems back then? I don't remember! I remember that you could find a lot of awesome deals on ebay back then and it seemed like Palitoy was making new discoveries and educating us all the time....which he still does today...so some things never change.
Well, just wanted to say Hi. This is still the World's Greatest Mego site and I'm happy it is still growing and going better than ever.
