Everything comes out on DVD so quickly, I'm not sure that anything would last long enough to make a deep impression. I can't think of any movie from the 21st century that I would say has an epic feel of movies from the 70's and earlier. Even LoR trilogy, seemed more video game like to me than classic. It's all good!Comment

I personally don't think any movies will stand the test of time after a while.
I'm talking about the far future.
Society already is slowly drifting away from watching movies.
Us, we're different because we're all nostagia buffs (and i'm sure there will still be some in the future)
But, i'll bet asking someone in the future -- "what's your fav movie" -- would be like asking anyone on the street today "what's your fav Mego".
Most go huh ????????Comment

Oh, totally The 13th warrior. Definately. No doubt in my mind.
I think I am one of about 10 people who liked that one. Not so much Antonio's character but I liked the Viking Crew and sets.
Brotherhood of the Wolf.
Instant classics."Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."Comment
