Gordie Tapp, Hee-Haw star dead at 94 R.I.P.

I don't believe there is any one of us who watched tv in the 70s who hasn't sung this:

Rest in peace, Gordie. Pffttt - you were gone.

There's not much of the classic Hee-Haw cast left, unfortunately. It was a Saturday night staple at our house every week.

      RIP Gordie.

I never thought I'd see "brains" and "Hee Haw" in the same sentence, but I guess that was the beauty of the show. That and the beauties on the show.

^ It's probably harder than you think trying to be rated G corny for adults but not condescending all at the same time.

Man, that's bummer news. "You were gone" was one of the bits on Hee Haw both me and my father loved (a genuine rarity). RIP, Geordie, thanks for the great memories!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.
