    Suicide Squad

Saw it over the summer and loved it. Watched it last night on BluRay with my mom and she loved it.
Honestly it's the only DC recent movie I liked. I thought Man of Steel was only so-so and BVS sucked. The Jury is still out on Justice League and WW.

I liked the extended version better than the theatrical one, it's not perfect but i find it entertaining and like aspects of it.

I watched it last weekend and enjoyed it. I saw the extended edition and I liked Leto' Joker but couldnt get past the fact he looked like Macaulay Culkin. Never been a fan of the Suicide Squad comics so I had low expectations. Ike Barinholtz was good and I usually like Will Smith in most of the movies he makes and he did a solid job with this. Margot Robbie knocked it out of park, and Jay Hernandez' performance was a pleasant surprise, especially since I thought it was actually Rick Genest when I watched the commercials

I'm sure someone will get me or my son the Blu-Ray for Christmas. Looking forward to the extended cut. I enjoyed the movie overall, despite my misgivings, and HATING Leto as the Joker.

Am I off base here or does the DC universe movies rely on the needing to know the "New 52 cannon" or is it just that the movies push to hard towards the Apocalypse story line we all know to be coming, or what? I kinda knew Suicide Squad was DC's attempt to make an interesting comic about a bunch of C-rank baddies (Capt. Boomerang??? for craps sake). It seemed the highlights were the brief cameo's of the hero's who bagged them. (building hype for the Justice League/Apocalypse thang.)
Even in the Dawn of Justice flick, Orion's opportune/ inopportune heralding of The big Guys coming to Batman was poorly scripted and or edited in to press the wait for the bigger (hopefully) better movie to come.
DC seems to take there audiences knowledge of comic history for granted and fails to tell there story the way it was originally told to us thru character and good story telling. I think that is where most of the Marvel movies succeed.

I missed it in theatres but I got a 99 cent rental for the extended version on Amazon, I'll be watching it sometime in the next week and am looking forward to seeing it.

Finally saw it. It is a check your brain at the door popcorn flick. It has lots of fun aspects and characters. The dialogue is bearable, The plot is weak with tons of "seriously?" moments.
