1976 Heroes World Catalog

I picked up this lovely specimen...



out of a quarter bin at a used bookshop in the same village as my lcs today (along with a kit-and-kaboodle of other things. The bookshop was having a November sale all $1 books were a quarter and all back issues were 25% off.

I can't wait to look through and see all those lovely toys...

I have one other one I picked up because of the Joe Kubert cover on it a few years back as well. It's the 1979 catalog I believe.



I have only ever seen those 2 in the wild and picked up both, so if I see others, I will definitely pick them up.

These are just great. I picked up a 1979 issue just this weekend out of a dollar box...a million dollars worth of memories in it though!
Always fun to place an imaginary order as you read- " I'll take 50 Isis dolls, and throw in 50 each of those Teen Titans. And a dozen of each of the 12" Megos, 500 of the Star Wars #1 comic, and a case of each Star Wars item on the page. Bill it all to my 2016 self!"

I love seeing stuff like this again after so many years, it's funny that they show Shazam with a white cape,
but released with a yellow cape, most likely they figured white would get dirty to quick.
