    Our spare room

My wife and I have a spare bedroom that we agreed I would use to display my collection. Well about a year ago my wife discovered scrap booking. Now "my display room" has become about ten percent mine. I'm not mad or anything of the sort but was wondering, has this happened to anyone else?

A man has to have his room, sounds like an addition is needed. If I had no office in my house I would turn my livingroom into one, that's how I got mine.

I lost my display room to the baby 2 years ago. Now we are in our new house, we have 5 bedrooms for 4 people (and two of us share one), so there better not be anymore display room stealing in my household.

I wouldn't past my wife to come up with something, "Guest Room", "Mother in Law" suite, etc.

And once you get a toyroom you'll find that you'll quickly out grow it.

I had a office/toyroom in our spare bedroom.

However I moved out and let my wife use it as her scrapbook room. She needed space to sped out her stuff and work, but her problem was our cats love to chew on photographs. So it was best to let her have a room she could close the door on and not worry about getting her pics eaten.

I'm now downstairs in my new office/toyroom, which used to be the dining room.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

Ok. Orphans! Listen to Ignacio. I know it is fun to wrestle. A nice piledrive to the face... or a punch to the face... but you cannot do it. Because, it is in the Bible not to wrestle your neighbour.

Not mad? Unless she pays 90% of the bills, I don't consider it fair. I got a kick out of the line in Juno where the guy says he has his own room in the house and Juno sarcastically says, "wow one whole room out of the house!" Women generally decorate every room of the house to their liking so its only fair to have at least one room to yourself if your are bringing in a considerable amount of income.

My wife got into scrap booking a couple years ago and began encroaching in my space in the office. A few months ago she quit being a rep. Yesterday I took her junk (reference George Carlin for the definition of junk) to the basemnet.

i tell you this so you can have hope not jealousy.

Got my first toy room 11 years ago and kid 1 was born and had to move my stuff into remodeled toy room 2. Second kid was born 3 years later and decided to box all my toys except my megos which I bought two display cases for from Ikea. Now 11 years later when I decided to remodel I added an extension on the house and built a Master bath that is twice the size of the master bedroom to have leverage to add my office/toyroom. Man its going to be great. I use it to stay in when I just have had one of those days and need to have time to look at my megos and relax from the kids fighting and yelling at each other which is an everyday thing.

My brother owns this house. Before my mom and I moved in, he promised me I could have one of the bedrooms for a toyroom. He gave all of the tennants (except the one downstairs in the basement area), 2 months to move. One girl really wanted to stay, so we kicked her outta her room, and gave her the tiny room off the kitchen. (But she's since moved too). The room she was kicked out of became my toyroom. There are no kids in my future, so this room is MINE!
