I love Frankenstein but I am waiting on somone to make an insane movie with Frankenstein monster as a monster. I liked the visual for Frankenstein in Van Helsing but the voice and characterization didnt work for me.
I LOVE the Dunwich Horror and would love to see that captured on the big screen.

Thinking back to my youth the scariest "monster" EVER was the Chiller Theatre Hand.

There was no other monster on TV that actually made me cover my eyes and ears every time it was shown

My favorite is the Creature from the Black Lagoon, great design for the time it was made, still my favorite today.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon because it just looks so cool. Frankenstein because Karloff nails it. He could look so menacing. The Aliens were very scary. That we're unstoppable vibe really gets to me.

The Wolf Man is my favorite monster....or I should say favorite character who is also monster. I really love Lon Chaney's portrayal of Larry Talbot. So much pathos, and a good chunk of it is probably Chaney channeling his own life into the role. He's the hero of the Universal monster cycle for me, so it's like having two great characters in one, really.

Dracula is my favorite literary monster, and my favorite screen Dracula is Christopher Lee, who best embodies the character from the novel, who is an unlovable evil SOB.
