Dead or Alive's Pete Burns Dead at 57

He and Dead or Alive had a couple catchy tunes in the 80s...he was kinda like another Boy George...

Burns still maintained some level of a celebrity status in England.

Obviously, his sexuality should not be a topic of conversation here...but I am discussing his extensive plastic surgeries...he completely rearranged his face. Now, I'm not a doctor, but perhaps all those surgeries had a latter affect on his heart?

    Regardless...RIP.

Club and dance music has always been pretty far out my range of interest but I still do remember his videos getting a lot of airplay on MTV in the 80s. Sorry to hear he passed away so young.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I loved their song "you spin me round"...But yea, he really looked strange after all the surgeries and stuff he had done...But still sad that he passed...

Bobby Vee: the "Rubber Ball" & [pre-Anne Murray] "Walk Right Back" performer? Oh, those are younger memories for me; how sad.
As for Pete, wow, big culture-making in my youth circles. What a fun performer! I always loved his group's "Lover Come Back To Me". I went to a retro-night last year, & that song stood out for me from the whole evening. Rest in peace.

He had some sort of a status over here amongst certain circles and would pop up on trash reality TV shows such as big brother. Went far too far with the old surgery to be fair.
Always sad to hear about people's deaths at a young age though.
            RIP Pete.

You Spin Me Round was/is one hell of a tune.
