I'll always love Gilda Radner in "Witch's Night Out". Tx for the reminder to see it again.

The Goldblum Sleepy Hollow was kind of like the Legends of the Super Heroes specials. For years, it seemed like I was the only person who remembered it existed!

The Raggedy Ann and Andy special was a favorite as a wee kid:

I have the Fat Albert Special on VHS and on a record, (direct audio copy from the TV special). I don't think I've heard of any of the other ones, (except maybe Garfield, but I was a teenager at that time). The only one I cared about as a kid were The Great Pumpkin., Fat Albert and Disney's Sleepy Hollow.

Global Television aired an animated special about the Devil (that I believe that was narrated by Vincent Price) that had the same animation company as "The Secret Railroad". It is impossible to find anything about it now. I remember looking forward to it every Halloween.

I started to think I dreamt the whole thing but recently I found a Youtube comment talking about it.

          EDITED: AH! I FOUND IT!

Under the name "Legends of Quebec" and the Special was called "Beware the Devil" in English and Vincent Price was the narrator.

And holy cats, here it is (sadly only available in French with a different narrator)

Here's another one that I remember seeing as a kid, Boo! This year is the first time I've ever found any evidence of it actually happening. It aired on CBC in Canada and Peter Cullen was the wolfman (!)

Every year at Halloween when I was a kid in the late 70's and early 80's we used to watch this filmstrip in our music class and every year I looked forward to it. Im very thankful for whoever posted this on youtube for all of us to see. The music and art are timeless to me and take me back to being a kid at Halloween. Anyone else remember seeing this in elementary school?...

Although I was little older when this came out for some reason it creeped me out and my friends out...(by the way this video was from when it was aired complete with commercials.)

I loved The Great Pumpkin, of course, but my friend and I used to stay on the phone and watch "Garfield's Halloween Adventure" and "The Fat Albert Halloween Special" , which they showed back-to-back many times in the 80's. Halloween was not a big day in my household (my Mother was not a fan, LOL!), so those are the only ones that I remember.

I've got vague recollections of that...or something like that. Our music teacher was WAY into Halloween. She'd dress up as a witch and say she was our teacher's twin sister, and she'd tied up our teacher, and taken over her class. She did this Kindergarten into 6th grade!

I know we used to sing "There Was An Old Woman of Skin and Bones..."

Yeah, I remember this. By this time, I'd started watching gory horror films (even though I was probably too young to do so), but I recall this being pretty creepy for a kids film.

I was always bothered by the lower production quality if this special. It didn't seem to "fit in" with the original.

If I had only spent a tenth of the time studying Physics that I spent learning Star Wars and Baseball trivia, I would have won the Nobel Prize.
