Like The Beatles?

I just saw this video by a brand new band called The Lemon Twigs (two brothers from Long Island, NY).

The first thing I thought of was Beatles/Wings when I heard this, and the second thing I though of was a bunch of you guys!

Their debut album just came out. Hope you dig it!

Hmmm. I get the Beatles comparison in a very removed kind of way with the tempo changes, but vocally it's a much harder sell for me. I hear allot of influences in that tune, but most seem to be coming from the 80's era, especially with the video visuals. It's a cool tune though. Thanks for sharing!

I hear the influences you mention, more Wings than Beatles, but I don't know, the music does not grab me, if that makes any sense

Yeah, I hear Wings, ELO, and even Harrison influence — but of course those all bleed into each other a bit.

I'm just totally impressed with these teens. I'm totally down for this album.

the first song reminded me of nilsson a bit or american singer/songwriters that were beatles influenced.i could hear some bowie in the second song.
