Eddy Arnold passes away

I don't normally start RIP threads, but I'd congratulate the late country legend Eddy Arnold for living to 90 and leaving a strong legacy of American music. As a little kid one song my Dad sang to me on guitar a lot was the Tennesee Stud, originally recorded by Arnold, still a favorite.

So thanks, Eddy. I'll make sure my boy knows about cowboys too.

Heard the news yesterday. Of course being in Nashville this was the top story today

Confession: I've watched too much Family Guy, I guess.

All I could picture when I heard this news was The Grim Reaper (voiced by Adam Corolla) ringing Mr. Arnold's doorbell and when Mr. Arnold answered, The Grim Reaper breaking out in a rousing rendition of "The Cattle Call".

Love Eddie Arnold's voice. A true Superstar in his day and he will be missed. RIP.
