Ha! I played water polo all four years in high school. As a sport to play, it rules.
It's not the most exciting to watch though......

NFL is #1 for me as much as I talk about soccer. Got a heavy dose of the Redskins growing up and have been hooked ever since.
Soccer #2. I love watching matches live or on tv. After coaching for a few years, my wife has really come to appreciate the sport and actually understands the rules at an intermediate level.
We're actually taking the family to RFK in Washington D.C. Saturday to watch the U.S. Women's National Team play Canada. My daughter will get a kick out of seeing Abby Wambach and Hope Solo live and watching women play at the highest level of the sport.
Tickets are also very reasonable compared to any other sport. I picked up lower bowl tickets around the 30 yd. line for $35 a ticket. Where else can you find a ticket for a sporting event at this level anywhere?Leave a comment:

MLB for me, followed closely on the heels by the NFL for my top two.
Actually, I'm like the Will Rogers of TV. Haven't met a sport that I wouldn't sit and watch.
I like playing them, too, but any time teams were being picked, I was usually last (That sound's very Charlie Brown of me) and didn't get much playing time.Leave a comment:

I love watching sumo wrestling, but I never know when it's on. Whenever I'm flipping the channels and it's on, the whole rest of the world can wait until I finish my sumo. I have weaned myself from NFL and NBA because my husband doesn't watch sports any sports. Does Ninja warrior count as a sport? I love that too.Leave a comment:
