Restoring / Cleaning a record cover....

Got a record yesterday in my 1st garage sale of the season. I know, it's late in the season. Don't go to many because most of the times it's new stuff around these parts. Anyway, got this Dexter Gordon LP from a couple that was going to throw it out along with 19 other LP's. Two of them were Blue Note Jazz LP's. The Dexter Gordon LP just need a good record cleaning and it sounds really nice. I figured I would try to clean up the LP cover and used a bit of info I've seen about restoring/dry cleaning comics. The tip was to use a draftsman eraser and it worked out real well:

    After:

Next I will try this on a cover with a little bit more color on it or a photographic image. The I may try this on the back cover of a comic book. I had some fun doing this and the results made it even better.

BTW...A copy of this LP sold for close to $300 back in August...feelin' real good right now
