In the Southeast Pacific, lies the sunken city of R'Leyh. There lies C'thulhu waits to return to our world with the other Great Old Ones. A hideous creature of enormous size and alien power, it waits for it's time to return patiently. For it has all the time in the world while it waits for the stars.

I go for a long run. It's amazing how far I can run when I'm really angry.
After that, I try a little meditation. I'm not very good at it but just trying to focus on some small breathing excercises after the run helps.
Finally, try to find something humorous to watch or read.
It doesn't solve the problem but usually gets me at least to a normal state of mind."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

I may be an emotional female, but sometimes, I just have a good cry. Sometimes I listen to sad music, or watch a sad movie. Sometimes, I just play w/ my toys, or just sleep.
