Anyone else remember around this time of year when they had those fall TV preview specials for the coming season? I remember they had them for Saturday morning cartoons as well.

I loved them. Some networks still do them these days, but they are nowhere near as fun or as anticipated as they were for me then. I loved the Saturday morning previews and the ads in comics promoting upcoming Saturday morning slates like these...
I'd pour through each network's ad trying to set up my viewing schedule and trying to decide between some of the tough choices when things I wanted to see were scheduled opposite each other (long before we ever had a VCR) and reruns were never dependable if you didn't watch something on the first run.

Releasing trailers to the internet and at SDCC and the like has taken the place of a lot of the network preview shows, but some networks still do a half hour clip show hosted by a couple of their marquee celebrities on their shows to do a run through of what's coming in a given season. CW does it fairly often, and I recall NBC still doing them around the time Once Upon a Time started, so they happen, but it's blink and you miss them.

ABC & CBS did a preview this year but it wasn't worth holding onto. I did find the NBC Laugh Busters with live action appearance of Spider-Man, K.I.T.T. and Alvin & the Chipmunks.Visit my wiki site:

I have the one from 1974 NBC, and I've seen the others. Man, I wish the one w/ Burns & Schrieber was complete. That one had "Mission: Magic" on it!"Do you believe, you believe in magic?

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

I wanna find the one hosted by Fi and Fum (Ruth Buzzi and Jim Nabors) of the Lost Saucer for ABC. I think that was '75 or '76."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
