getTV showing Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour

Monday night on getTV at 7:00pm they will be showing the classic Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour starting with episode 1.

I hope they show them all because I want to see the Cher-Planet of the Apes skit.

Here in the Bay Area, they replaced Antenna TV w/ Get TV. And we're getting S&C at 5 and 8pm. YAY! A variety show in prime time! (and finally a use for that icon!)

'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

      Next with Lyle Waggoner

Tonights episode was like stepping back in time. This show was on before I could remember it so seeing it today when I can enjoy the jokes (or the adult jokes) seems to be better. Next week will have Lyle Waggoner and Jean Stapleton, shame it was before Wonder Woman tv series.

That's very cool to know!! I was 5 when I remember it being on tv. I was only re-acquainted with the series when NickAtNite showed the pilot as a special for New Year's Eve, when I had sattelite, ~'91. I was so happy to pick up s.1 on DVD a few years back. Very cool!!!

I have to settle for the Carol Burnett spoof when it airs on MeTV.

I was 5 when the show premiered on Sunday nights in '71, so this really was like stepping into a time machine. Just wait til Rick Springfield's on! (That was in October '72) I have a bootleg of that show. I clearly remember watching Rick playing the piano and singing a ballad. A year later he had the cartoon "Mission:Magic" and I was like "That's HIM!" Endulge me while I post my video:

Indeed. It's for that reason "Heart of Stone" always rang true with me. Re: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1y...of-stone_music
