How come no one told me about taco stands?

I just went out to grab a quick bite to eat... I live in a VERY hispanic neighborhood and there are little taco stands/ drive ups all over the place. I have never gone to one, as my spanish skills are weak at best, so I was a little intimidated.
So today I am going past this place that has a life size plastic cow on the roof (and that alone makes the place good) and I figure, what the hell, I'm gonna try it.
I DID NOT KNOW TACOS COULD BE THIS GOOD!
I want to go back and buy more just give them away and bring people taco joy! I want to save one and carry it around like a baby and keep it safe! I want to go next door and tell my neighbor Oscar "I understand the taco now!"

I'd never buy taco's from Taco Bell

The local ma and pa places are always 1000% better --- and they give you more eats for your money.

I eat local Mexican at least once every 2 weeks

Yep, the taco truck in my neighborhood is the best carne asada. It's only gone wrong for me once...

here in the LA area there is a lot of hubbub about taco trucks. big debate going on and laws that were silently passed are now being questioned. here's a main site against the current proposal

I've said it a million times. The BEST tacos are found at the little silver taco trucks. I've been eating them my entire life.....Of course some trucks are better than others, but for the most part, those little trucks serve the REAL DEAL--quick and delicious proletarian Mexican heaven .....
