10 most outrageous food coming to the Canadian National Exhibition

The CNE has unveiled a freak show of outrageous eats for 2016. In an attempt to top the Franken-foods of last year, the 2016 crop of dishes will test…

the trend in recent years has been mashing up savoury and sweet.

Ugh, Sorry man, but that all looks really gross. Especially the chili dog that appears to be buried in Captain Crunch. Now I'm thinking about the CNE stench of boiled hot dogs, sweat, and tar, and I'm actually looking forward to my lunch salad now.

Sigh, I'm such an old man.

Nothing is more unappetizing at the Ex than the smell of BBQ'd corn. It smells like deep fried hair.

I just get a corn dog every year anyway, they are the greatest on the planet.

Deep fried hair: *Yes*! You described it perfectly! Man, how do we ever repair from having scorched a hole in the ozone directly overtop the Ex, from all the, ahem, after-burn. Personally, I do not eat there. At all. I have enough problems with folliculitis & adult-acne from GMOs in my regular diet.

In the past few years, the local press has given a great deal of coverage to whatever they deem the most outrageous food concoction. So now it's pretty much degraded into a contest to see who can invent the most outlandish combinations.

With that said, there have been some really delicious experiments for those with bolder palette's. I've enjoyed the donut burgers in the past, but the Churro's is a fun twist on that.

If you haven't already sought out a well made probiotic for adults, give it a whirl. Greatly reduced my skin issues in a few days.

I usually don't like to combine savory with sweet...but I'm a fan of chocolate caramel with sea salt candies.

However, anybody ever tried chocolate covered bacon?

                      Holy crap, surprisingly good, lol...

                          I know.

At first I was extremely skeptical...

                          Bacon and chocolate?

But once I tried it...man...it's like they were made for each other...delicious.

I still can't believe that combination tastes that good, but it does...
