    Visiting Boston

Me and the fam are driving to Boston next week so I thought I'd ask my friends here what things should I check out?
I've already googled the obvious stuff like Fenway Park and the zoo. Looking for your personal experiences.
    Thanks!

If you don't mind driving an extra 2 hours from Boston try Woods Hole, Mass

Beautiful town on Cape Cod and you can pick up a ferry to Martha's Vineyard.

Leave your car in Woods Hole and rent a bike when you get to Martha's ... should be gorgeous this time a year.

You likely would have met the Comicazi guys at Mego Meet. Given the cool stuff they bring to Mego Meet every year, I've always wanted to check out their store.

Go walk around Cambridge and Harvard. Totally worth it.

Cheers bar. Was good cheesy touristy fun.

        I enjoyed Boston Commons park.

Keep in mind there are kinda TWO Cheers Bars. One is the exterior as seen in the TV show and the other is the replica bar. Although it appears that the original Bull and Finch has come under management/ownership of Cheers since I last visited a decade or so ago.
You’ve seen the TV Show. You know and love the characters. Now experience the Boston pub that inspired it all – Cheers on Beacon Hill in Boston, MA.

For good food, visit the North End Italian section of Boston, Castle Island South Boston is pretty cool too,
Revolutionary War site and close ups of low flying commercial planes coming into Logan airport,
and Cape Cod is a must, about 2 hour drive south of Boston.

But be forewarned of the heavy traffic especially on the expressway, don't know why they call it that.

When doing things in Boston, I would recommend using public transportation, it's called the MBTA
