    censorship

i have had all my films with the word spy in the title removed from ioffer they have been on their site for 3 years but suddenly the word spy is not allowed has anyone else encountered this kind of censorship.

That's weird. I just did a search on ioffer and there are plenty of movies and tv shows with the word "spy" in the title for sale. Are you sure it has been banned, and is not just some kind of glitch with your account?

Not only that, the Mego Museum removed your punctuation!

That is an odd one... I could see if they flagged or removed the listing because they thought you were selling something illegal ("spy on your neighbor in the shower!" kind of idea). But letting you sell the same thing, and just have to change the wording? (ok, erm... "secretly watch your neighbor") Not sure I get the point!

I thought pretty well anything goes on ioffer (kind of like how ebay was in it's earliest days), so that seems strange.

Speaking of ioffer, I used to list stuff for sale on there but really haven't thought about it in a couple years and assumed my listings would eventually lapse with no activity, I haven't even visited the website in a long time. But a couple days ago, out of the blue I received an email that someone just bought and paid for a few movies I was selling. Wasn't expecting that!

My bad, it was stuff I had for sale on eCrater, not ioffer. Pretty sure my ioffer listings expired long ago, but eCrater is still kicking around, I forgot about it!
