After working for the same company for 15 years and sacrificing so much energy and time away from my late wife and for dealing with a ridiculous amount of daily stress I broke down in may and took a Medical leave for anxiety and stress. I had nothing left to give, physically or emotionally and was supposed to return from leave July 11.
I never went BACK!
Now, finally after months of resumes and job searching my ship has come in. I am now a personal banker for Fifth Third taking care of checking, savings, credit cards, lines of credit, cds, money market accounts and mortgages. I'm actually going to be making more base salary than I was previously and still have monthly bonuses. Plus, they have a very strict 40 hour week, so no overtime. Being a former salaried retail manager I had to Google 40hr work week to get the full scoop.
I officially signed my offer letter today and was federally fingerprinted. Just thought I'd share some good news for a change!
