Lightning strike in Poukeepsie hits 5 people

I was on a conference call at the same time and there was this tremendous thunderclap, scared the crap out of me and the people I was on the call with, it was so loud they heard it over my headset. at about the same time these poor souls were hit with a lightning strike. this park is about 5 miles away
