What a waste, cities pay tons of money that take years to pay off, and a lot of that money goes to stuff like this that never see use again. No wonder why so many cities now (and their tax paying residents) don't think hosting the Olympics is even worth it these days.Comment

I seen a story about cities that host Olympic games.
It said "only questionable cities" usually bid and win them --- referring to a lot of politicians walking away in the end with huge profits in THEIR pockets.
It said sometimes they hold them in legit cities just to keep up appearancesComment
