    Are you being served? Remake

I watched the heck out of the original when it used to air on PBS.

A photo from a new version of sitcom Are You Being Served? shows Sherrie Hewson as Mrs Slocombe and Jason Watkins as Mr Humphries.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I'll pass on this. Not sure why they made Mr. Grace a young guy. I always thought that was the funnier of the bits with the original. You had "young" Mr.Grace who wasn't young at all.

He is actually the grandson of young Mr. Grace.

One of my all-time favorites. I get bummed every time I think about almost the entire cast having passed.

Nothing will ever beat the original cast, I have the complete series on DVD and the Being Served movie made
back around 1977, Mr. Humphries was halirious. I always wanted to make customs megos of the cast.

Yeah, the original was a great series. I'm looking forward to rewatching it in 4 or 5 years.

Will check the link later at home, as it's disabled at work. I love the old show. Sad there aren't many of the cast alive anymore. I forget who, but I think only one male actor is a surviving cast member. I see I wasn't the first to bring it up. Man, that happens a lot on the internet. As they say, great minds think alike.
