American cheese is great for burgers.

But if I want world class cheese...I hit Whole Foods...cheeses from around the world...as well as gourmet American cheeses...

My daughter and I were just nibbling on some yummy cheese from Whole Foods.

If I was lactose intolerant I don't know what I'd do.

Unfortunately, I'd have to go all the way to Cleveland for a Whole Foods or a comparable selection. But Giant Eagle actually carries a lot of cheeses for an "average" grocery. Cheese is my favorite "5th" food group lol--luckily, I have access to many good Amish-produced local cheeses.

I've recently discovered Kerrygold Irish Cheddar and Dubliner wedges. For dietary reasons, I prefer strong cheeses where I don't have to use a lot. The Kerrygold has a lot of flavor.

Tillamook makes great cheeses too, but they also make awesome ice cream as well...

I just tried this one, and it's delicious...
