The singer of a pretty famous Canadian band called "The Tragically Hip" lives fairly close. I live in s small town of 4000 but I've never run into him around town.

I used to work around the corner from Ben Franklin's final resting place, does that count? I'd pass him every day on the way to work and sometimes I'd even leave my spare pennies on his grave.

Yep - I lived on the border of two school districts, his son Brian went to a "rival" school but we worked together at a local Ponderosa washing dishes. Both are big guys.

That's ironic that you mentioned the Colts because many of the old Baltimore Colts players live right near me and I was gonna mention them. Tom Matte lives a couple streets away from me and I see him all the time. Johnny Unitas and Art Donovan(RIP) were close family friends who lived right near me and I would see them all the time and they would go to my Grandparents house for dinner (good lord could Art Donovan drink!) got some pictures at my folks Ill post on here on of these days. You should have heard the stories they had!
John Waters lives near me and when im in town (I travel for work alot) I see him a couple times a year. Ive known him for a long time and he is just as weird as you think he is!

I guess for me it would be Colin Chilvers, he lives in our town. He won a Special Achievement Oscar for the visual effects on Superman The Movie, worked on The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the first X-Men film, and even directed the "Smooth Criminal" segment of Moonwaker. I've never met him but my father has and he's a regular customer at the restaurant where my wife works.
