This one isn't mine. We don't have much for a home theatre, although maybe we would if I didn't buy toys instead.
So in lieu of my boring livingroom enjoy this.

I can't compete with some of you guys, but I'm enjoying my new set up. 50" Panasonic plasma with a pair of Axiom bookshelf speakers. I love it. http://i28.tinypic.com/296j9eh.jpg
that's a beautiful set up,I love that unit, where did you buy that?
I live in a 100+ year old freight station which is four stories tall but very narrow. The building is taller than it is long or wide, and I'm in Minnesota where the winters are over 6 months long, which means there is a lot of temperature disparity from level to level. The addition of the fancy space heater on the first level has really evened out the temperature throughout the house.
the cozy comfort of the fire coupled with great sound and picture gets us through many cold nights.
It's a bit of a shambles now, but there's technically a dedicated theater room in the basement. The screen height changes depending on the aspect ratio (widescreen or not) of the presentation, but the width is constant at a bit over eight feet.
This is with the lights turned on to give a better sense of scale.
It's set up for HD now, but only does 720p, which is still decent at that size. Maybe I'll upgrade to 1080 someday, but we'll see. Sound is 5.1 discrete channels, Dolby Digital and DTS, 610 total watts (5x100 + 12" subwoofer with discrete 110-watt amp).
Sure, you can't even get to it now because we're in the middle of a million projects, but give me a month or two!
