Depends on how big the wound is. If it's only a small wound I'd say let the air get at it and just keep dabbing it until the blood starts to dry. Strange you should mention an open wound. I picked one up a decent cut on my finger yesterday while doing a weekly water change on my fish tank and I keep Piranha. Nervous...... Yes I was. Small drops of blood hitting the water and they could smell it.
I would say, if those are my only choices, I'm choosing drawn butter and garlic. I'm not sure how garlic works when applied directly, but it does have healing properties when eaten.
BBQ and Russian Dressing I wouldn't use because they have sugar in them and I don't know for sure what that would do, but I don't trust it.
Honey is supposed to be good for wounds, so if you had BBQ made with real honey or even honey mustard, I'd choose that.
I think you should do your best to clean the wound (clean water and soap, if possible) and keep it clean. Don't put any of that junk on it - try to keep it sterile!!! I think putting food on it is just going to increase risk of infection.
If you don't have a bandage or gauze and it's still bleeding apply pressure using a clean cloth or towel. If the wound won't stop bleeding you might need stitches.
What is putting food on it suppose to achieve, anyway?
Speaking from "Old School" 1st Generation Italian American...go with garlic on the wound. You'll smell for a little bit like garlic...but it does work to a degree. If it was me...I'd just get the peroxide out and clean the wound and then put some neosporin on it and then a bandaid...but that's just me...I'm Mr. Vegas

And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".

Ha, I owned and kept two red bellied piranhas in a 75 gallon tank...had them for 13 years...until they both died of natural causes. They were awesome...I used to feed them anything from live goldfish, to hot dogs, cold cuts, etc...I avoided giving them raw red meat though...as it would dirty up the fish tank. Their names were Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata. They are illegal in California, but there's a lively underground exotic fish business, so they are quite easy to obtain under the table. I sure miss them...too bad I sold off my aquarium setup once they died. Maybe again in the near future.
Hector. I got 6 Red Bellies in a 450 litre tank. Had them for around two and a half years now. Keep them on all kinds of foods really. Prawns mainly, but they do have heart, chicken and steak. The last two I only give them now and again because as you say, it mucks up the water.
Interested in how you would obtain them there. Would that mean they're wild caught?

The question is not "How should I take care of a wound?" The question is "What condiment would you put on a wound?"
