    Arrrghhh!

Working on my toy room, trying to get some things out and set up. Wanting to take pictures later today and my wife appears...

" I think we need a new digital camera!"

    "I just washed it! "

    CEST-LA-VIE

Now I get to go shopping for a new camera.
Other one wasn't even a year old!

Good reason to get a new one.

      She washed it?

I had taken pictures last night with it and put it in my pants pocket so I wouldn't leave it outside overnight.

Forgot to take it out of my pocket last night and this morning she scooped up all the clothes and threw them in the wash.

When she put the wet clothes in the dryer and started it she heard a clunking sound. Took the clothes out and found the camera!

I thought it was only my wife who was known for washing items other than clothes in the washer machine????

Try to dry it out. Just last week my camera spent 20 minutes submerged in water before I found it. It took 4 days in the sun but it works now (with a few glitches). It is a canon powershot. - my cell phone was with it. It took 5 days plus 30 minutes with a blow dryer.

I sprayed it down with compressed air for computers and am letting it dry out. Recharged the battery and it turns on than suts itself off!

              Only time will tell!

A couple of weeks ago my girlfriend washed my wallet, if that wasn't bad enough, on the same night (but in a different load) she washed her brand new "Blackberry" phone thingy.
She's a very bright girl and I love her to death, but she just wasn't having a great day.
